Perhaps the most radical TV production of a Shakespeare play to date. Macbeth on the Estate is a filmed version Shakespeare’s ‘Scottish play’ filmed on the Ladywood Estate in Birmingham devised and directed by Penny Woolcock and the residents of the estate, and featuring several visiting actors in the lead roles.
